Last nights dream was a Halloween night, we broke into my art therapy space which wasn’t actually that space but in the dream I understood it to be. There was a large group of us, including Sandy and I. We were sober and decided to do arts and crafts. Sandy and I were in love but not together, we were still perceived as exes but it was palpable how much affection we shared for each other. As I was getting some supplies I come back to find Kiki is there, and she’s dyed her hair PINK! (I infamously have always had pink hair for the longest time). She kept trying to talk to me like nothing happened and I ignored her. People commented how weird it was that we didn’t speak. Then the group all went to the window to see people partying on the street and some people noticed us in the window and we played charades with them. Afterwards I went to get my nails done and the guy seemed familiar but not sure who. He cleaned my nails up and then said I’d have to come back for a second appointment and I absolutely lost it on him, calling him a scam while his employees snickered at me. Then we were at my family’s house, the one I grew up in, and in the pool. Max jumped in the pool but instead of swimming he just sank, and I asked someone to help me save him, and he was okay. Then I decided to go to this woman’s house who in the dream I seemed to know well and she lived in this grand penthouse and I found Sandy there crying to her, and he was relieved to find me. We stayed and had dinner and this woman was a widow and I remember asking her if she’d ever love again at her age, everyone thought it was rude but her who answered it’s always possible. Caitlin’s stepmom Danielle was there too? And after we left, Danielle received an anonymous donation of $2mil. It was from the widow woman. Part of me wished I had spoken up about being broke so I could have gotten it, but I got over it very quickly.
